End abuse in plain sight.

Raising awareness about coercive control and advocating for change in Ohio.

What is Coercive Control?

Coercive control is an act or a pattern of acts of assault, threats, humiliation and intimidation or other abuse that is used to harm, punish, or frighten victims.

Unlike isolated incidents of abuse, coercive control is a consistent and deliberate strategy to strip away the victim's autonomy. It can include psychological, emotional, financial, and physical tactics designed to dominate and control another person.
